Submitting Music FAQ & Tips

• We accept Irish music submissions in MP3 (preferred) or Wav.  You can email us your download links or send file sharing URLs anseo.
• For stations in general, Submit a Wav and a 320kbps mp3 link – they appreciate the options. (Some DJs like an aiff or flac but this is less common).

• Can I submit music to your station? Yes, please just link the music while you’re already emailing us!
• No “track 001 (Mastered 16bit 48k Wav Final final).wav” or “05 song name.mp3” enigmas please. Just “Artist Name – Song Name (Radio Edit/Instrumental – if applicable)”. Please include your artist name.
• Number your album tracks in the folder or they’ll be alphabetical forever.
• Make sure your Google Drive is shared access. WeTransfer links may expire before the head of music gets to your email. Make your private Soundcloud tracks downloadable.
• Don’t bury your track link on the third page of an attached press release, put it in the email. The more clicks to get to a track, the more likely people will give up (or get interrupted in a busy office).
• If you send an embargoed track way ahead of time, the station may forget about it by the time it’s out. Either send closer to the time, or put out a reminder on release day.
• If you don’t get a response, please don’t be offended, we receive 1000ish music submissions a month and can’t respond to all!
• A nudge to remind us about a track is fine, but don’t keep emailing, texting, Whatsapping and DMing, it may have the opposite of the desired effect.
• We have a list of current show genre tags on our homepage that will give you an idea of the styles of music played on the station.
