Sai Gujulla has taken up the role of President of NUI Galway Students’ Union. Sai, a biomedical engineering student, was elected by his peers earlier this year and has now taken the reins in the
Students’ Union. He held the role of Convenor of the College of Science and
Engineering with the SU last year. Sai follows in the footsteps of President Michael D Higgins who was the NUI Galway Students’ Union President back in 1964. He will be working closely with the other SU
Officers including the Vice President/Welfare and Equality Officer Imogen O’Flaherty
Falconer, the Vice President/Education Officer Joe Mee and the Vice President for
the Irish Language Barry Ó Siochrú.
