Love Without Judgement

Love without Judgment every second Tuesday on Flirt FM 101.3 in the Galway area. My name is Leo Snygans, and I am a mature student in Journalism and Politics. I am also busy finishing a diploma in the Irish language. I have been in meditation for the last 20 years, and it’s part of what I do to relax. If I hadn’t had my meditation and mindfulness in the crazy storm, I would have been gone a long time ago.
Love Without Judgment has been on the air for almost four years in its show about mindfulness and meditation. The whole idea of the show is to bring in that relaxation time for yourself. We live in a world filled with fear and anxiety.

I have guests and friends, Liaoliao from China and Matt from Cork, who share their experiences on the show. It’s been a privilege to bring my guest in for the last few weeks, and in the next few weeks, we will generally just talk about mindfulness and meditation. Both are practising Buddhists. The whole idea of the show is to bring back the vital message of how we look after our mental health.
We live in a society where not much is invested in mental health and how to deal with it. As human beings, we are imperfect, and we all deal with anxieties because of society’s structure together. It’s so important to find specific ways to relax and all kinds of ways to find peace within yourself. The show aims to bring a combination of knowledge on finding that secret to relax, bring down that blood pressure, and relax yourself entirely from all the stress outside. Switching your brain off takes a lot of work because overthinking is probably our worst enemy. So, you learn all kinds of tools and things to relax. There is no time limit when putting time back within yourself. Self-love is so important. How can you love something or somebody if you don’t love yourself, too? Join me in the Galway area and listen to Love Without Judgment every second Tuesday at noon this year on Flirt FM.
